Palma, the island’s capital, features sweeping coastal promenades and a vibrant nightlife that rivals Ibiza. But if that’s not your scene, head to the north of the island where you’ll find Pollença, a historical town that dates back to the 12th century. Once there, make your way through narrow, winding streets that will transport you back to the medieval era until you reach Plaça Major. The town’s main square is dominated by a 13th century church — Esglèsia de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels.

Venice, Italy
