The world is on watch for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding. You know that will be one for the books, and our bet is they do something in the Mediterranean. They clearly love being on the water, especially when it’s on Jeff Bezos’s boat Koru, the tallest sailing ship in the world. Or they could skip the Med and head over to the private island of The Brando. Only time will tell. However until we get word on the Bezos wedding, we’ll all have to settle with watching Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s vacation this summer. Of course, it is already shaping up to be epic.

Hydra

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s vacation this summer kicked off in Greece, as it should aboard the tallest sailboat in the world. It’s only appropriate that they would dingy into the quaint island of Hydra. Hydra is a boat ride away from the nearby Amanzoe and Athens. Hydra is day trip to explore the pedestrian only island and it is the antithesis of Mykonos. There are no Chanels on the island or really any place you would want to spend the night. That’s what makes it so authentic. It’s a day destination that’s worthy of everyone, from the millionaire to billionaire next door. Back to the future Mr. and Mrs. Bezos, they made it a family affair with Bezos’s eldest sun with dinner at Sunset Restaurant.

Mykonos

We have to say we were surprised to hear that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s vacation this summer included Mykonos. Their visit wasn’t to a remote part of the island either, but rather the center of town. Mykonos town is a nightmare for security teams, which you know one of the richest men in the world has on staff. This is why you don’t see a lot of A-listers walking around the center of town, which has narrow streets and limited escape routes. In fact there’s only one hotel on island that is cleared for Heads of State. And this spot is on the most remote part of Mykonos, and near the private airport. But back to the Bezos’ summer vacation, Jeff and Lauren wandered around the main part of town. Clearly billionaires, they’re just like us too and want their fix of Chanel shopping on isle. For a bite, the Bezos’ opted for Peruvian cuisine at Coya’s outpost on isle.

Sardinia

If there’s heaven on earth, the general consensus is that it’s on the island of Sardinia. Sardinia is one of the least visited parts of the mainstream Mediterranean, because it’s not easy to get to. Of course if you have your own boat, then it’s easy-peasy. The beauty of Sardinia though isn’t the only reason it made the cut for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s vacation this summer. Lauren’s son Nikko Gonzalez, is a model with his mom and dad’s good genes. Nikko walked the 2024 Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria, and his mom and future stepdad sat front row to cheer him on. That’s one of the things we like about the future Mr. and Mrs. Bezos; they keep it a family affair.
