The Grand Dame

four seasons Budapest

Today we Galavante to Budapest, which has been the prize of many an empire throughout history. While walking along the Danube looking at the Budapest skyline, it’s easy to see why. This is a regal city, which has a high dose of culture, but a sleep city it is not. Legendary describes the nightlife of Budapest, especially in the summer months with its outdoor nightclubs.

Our Contributing Writer, Meleena Bowers, has had the fortune to study for her Masters in Law in Budapest, so takes us to all the insider spots. Budapest is a must see, at least once in your lifetime, with a stay at the Four Seasons. A converted palace, it’s often the favorite Four Seasons of this hotel’s connoisseurs. I’ve heard even the most seasoned travelers claim it is one of their favorites in the world.

If you’re not traveling to Budapest now, you can still enjoy it at home with our Cooling Your Jets Writer, Erica Wilders, Hungarian feast. On the lighter side this is not, but nonetheless a gorgeous Hungarian menu that represents the best of the local cuisine.

I am just back from an extraordinary trip to Easter Island, the Atacama Desert, Lima and Santiago. I am already writing our features to share with you this next few months.

Galavante is continuing to evolve our website and features, and as always would love your feedback. Thank you for all your support and ideas.
