You have the coveted membership to Aman Club. You sat next to Zendaya at Paris Fashion Week. And this season, you’ve skied in Courchevel, Hokkaido, and the Yellowstone Club. The point is you run with the right crowds. So, of course, the Milken Institute Global Conference is on your calendar this year.
The Milken Global Conference
When: MAY 5–8, 2024
Where: The Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles
This year marks the 27th year of the conference. The conference is set to be jam-packed with panels full of world industry leaders ready to discuss systemic issues on a global scale. Top thinkers, including CEOs of billion-dollar companies, celebrities, and government officials, make their way to the Milken Conference year after year.
Here, people with the influence and the big bucks have open discussions with finance, tech, nutrition, and pharma experts for solutions to the world’s most tumultuous challenges. Up for discussion are topics like the climate crisis, data privacy, renewable energy, and geopolitics. Some speakers include Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass, and Vice President for Public Affairs and Alumni Relations, Mohamed Bin Zayed from the University of Artificial Intelligence.
This year’s panels haven’t been revealed just yet. What we do know is that the theme will be “Shaping a Shared Future”, which will include a heavy focus on what AI means moving forward.
Former Drexel Burnham Lambert Bank Financier Michael Milken knows how to generate money and engage in philanthropy, and now he’s inviting you to the conversation amongst 3,000+ others. There is a slight catch – the price tag.
How to Attend
There are three ways to attend: 1) a personal invite, 2) an associate membership, and 3) a nonprofit or academic membership. A personal invite is hard to come by, so the next best thing is to become a Council Member. This membership is the cheapest of the three memberships that’ll guarantee you an in with a cost of $25,000+.
The membership is annual with other perks to make it worth your while. You can also opt for a President’s Circle or Chairman’s Circle Membership which costs up to $100,000+. There’s also the option of applying through an academic or nonprofit institution dedicated to research. However, this application is subject to approval.
The Milken Institute is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization. Memberships help fuel research and secure a definite invite to talk to some of the most influential people of our time. So, it might just be worth the cost. Will we see you there?
