Faraway Marthas Vineyard

Location & Background

Blue Flag Partners opened Faraway Nantucket location in 2021, and it only seemed natural to open a new hotel in Martha’s Vineyard too. The group has reimagined the historic Kelley House with a much-needed facelift. This isn’t just another bed and breakfast though. Faraway Martha’s Vineyard wants to connect to a new generation of travelers to Edgartown. Edgartown is one of the few places on Martha’s Vineyard that serves alcoholic beverages, so Faraway is within close proximity to several local hotspots. During your stay, you will be able to access many well-known restaurants, cafés and coffee shops that are beloved by the locals.

The Food

The Newes from America, the hotel’s iconic pub, will take you back in time to dine with the sea captains. The pub has been feeding hungry guests since 1742, and their food is legendary in the surrounding area.
