The Aman New York project is one of the most expensive hotel residence projects in the city’s history, if not the most expensive. The word Aman, derived from Sanskrit, means peace. And that’s just what you get in heart of bustling New York, in any of the hotel’s 83 suites. There’s something money can’t buy, and it’s a membership to the Aman Club. Of course there is an initiation fee, and annual dues that break the six-figure mark. But just because you have the coin, which virtually everyone at your private school does, that doesn’t guarantee you a spot. If you’re lucky enough to be accepted, you’ll have access to two club lounges, a private garden terrace, a cigar lounge, and a wine room.
