The Private Suite at LAX

Sometimes, just sometimes, when you make someone’s life more expensive, you’ve done your job. We’d like to introduce you to the Private Suite, PS at LAX. This is as close to the private jet experience you can get when flying commercial. Yes, you can bypass security and keep your shoes on. But there’s more.

Like Private, but Without the Private Plane

As you know, those who fly private do not even share the same air space (literally and figuratively) as common commercial flight folks. Now is your chance, though, to get that private experience when traveling on a regular flight. The new PS at LAX is a service that takes your airport experience to the next level. Set in an exclusive terminal away from the public ones, it’s a pretty baller way to travel. And because you’re not chartering a private plane, you’re saving the planet by reducing your carbon footprint.

The Experience

Expect to see a whole lot less celebs in the LAX airport now that PS is available. Set in its own terminal, the PS experience is exactly like flying private, up to the actual plane experience. The first level of service is The Salon, where you’re only with other PS travelers. You get expedited screening and shuttle service to and from your plane, with bites and cocktails included, for $695 per person.

Now if having your own private terminal with other PS flyers is still too many cooks in the kitchen, no problem. You can rent your own suite, away from the PS common area, for yourself or your group. There’s a private BMW chauffeur to and from the aircraft, as well as cocktails and chef-prepared meals. And in terms of travel, it’s not a bank-breaker. The private suite at the PS starts around $3,250.

The lounges are brand new, and you can judge for yourself on their aesthetics. So if you are looking to start and finish your flight experience in a Zen frame of mind, PS at LAX is the way to go. We’re just waiting for this service at JFK and other airports around the world.
