Is it too soon since Oscar-Gate? Because we covet the travels of Will Smith, who is one of the best-traveled celebs out there. It’s not hard to be when you’re promoting films that gross over a billion dollars worldwide. Whether Will is on a press junket in Japan or taking some R&R with his family, he travels in style.

Mumbai, India

How convenient it was that the Smiths had planned for a family vacation to India in April. Despite the Oscars debacle, Jada insisted that the couple go on the trip so as to connect and recenter. Where Will Smith travels is usually about the spectacle of his arrival. This time, he and Jada took time to meet with a spiritual leader to privately do some inner healing. Will famously loves India  and says that the country helps him awaken a new understanding of himself. It wouldn’t be hard to relax where he stayed at the JW Marriot Hotel in Juhu.

Zanzibar, Tanzania

Despite now known for his somewhat dramatic display of heroism, Will is also a proponent of smaller acts of service. Recently, he and Jada traveled to Zanzibar where they facilitated several projects at the District Hospital in Bagamoyo. The trip wasn’t all work and no play, however, as they stayed at The Residence Zanzibar. The hotel has coastal views and a prime spot on the Northern Coast of the island.

Sydney, Australia

Promotional trips aside, Will loves it down under. You just have to stalk his instagram to see that where Will travels, he documents. And Australia made a big appearance during his latest trip. Unlike other celeb instagrammers, Will is not concerned with posting glossy, staged photos. Instead, he goes full dad mode with close up selfies and foodie pics he claims not to love. It’s hard to complain, though, as his adventures at the Opera House, the Bridge climb, and at brunch at Porch and Parlour in Bondi Beach will inspire anyone to visit the far away continent.
