Where Jennifer Lopez Should Vacation

Joelle Mentis, Staff Writer

We love us some JLo, and we are rooting for her and Ben. Or honestly, wherever her happiness lies because that girl has JLo glow. There’s nothing like some real time away though, which now she’s postponed her concert dates, she may have on her hands. These are the places Jennifer Lopez should vacation with family this summer. And no, they’re not the usual “Look at me” in St. Tropez spots. But rather, these are places where she can get quality private time with those she loves.

The Location: Umbria, Italy

The Hotel: Villa Reschio

JLo has a wild imagination, so where JLo should vacation should suspend reality at least a little bit. Hotel Villa Reschio might be labeled villa, but in fact it is a castle fit for a celebrity stay. Besides being located in the gorgeous and untouched Umbrian/ Tuscan countryside, the castle has a 1,000 year old history written by barons, world wars, and contemporary aristocracy.

The architecture features high ceilings, tight corridors, winding hallways, and other mysterious spaces perfect for inspiring an artist. The villa also has been modernized with a pool, spa, fine dining restaurant, and boutique.

The Location: Corsica, France

The Hotel: Domaine Murtoli

Where JLo should vacation has to be a little bit simple. Even if she is worth more than most of us. This is about back to basics, albeit billionaire playground basics. JLo can rent out all of Domaine Murtoli. While the hotel gives off a rustic-luxury vibe — something uncharacteristic for JLo, the simple space that centers nature will give her family something to connect over. And in fact, there really are more billionaires here going off grid. This is where even Queen Bey had her 40th birthday.

The beachside estate combines the luxuries of coastal weather and ambiance and farmland, with a working farm-to-table Michelin starred restaurant. But its the private heated pools, private wine cellars, working cave restaurant, and endless nooks and crannies to explore that really set this place apart.

The Location: Sardinia, Italy

The Hotel:

We’re not saying stay in a hotel, but rather rent a fat manse in Sardinia. This one does the rustic Meditteranean Island thing perfectly, with a modest build that centers the sea and the gorgeous view in its construction. Again, where JLo should vacation must equip her with plenty of family-friendly spaces. The stunning pool and patio are the perfect place for she and the crew to get together.
But even though the rustic, raw wood interiors read beachy and chill, the villa still commits itself to celeb-level quality with decadent bedrooms, all with king-sized beds, a massage room and sauna, outdoor showers, a grill and even a pizza oven. Villa Rafael might just be where she and her loved ones come together.
