Selena Gomez

Fun fact: Selena Gomez is the most followed woman on Instagram, so she’s clearly doing something interesting. And her travels are no exception. Here are some of the places that everyone’s favorite singer, actress, and entrepreneur has visited.

Santa Barbara, California

Sunny skies, ocean breeze, and a touch of Hollywood glamour. Santa Barbara, California had it all when Selena Gomez tied the knot with producer and songwriter Benny Blanco in September 2025. The couple said “I do” in a dreamy ceremony at Sea Crest Nursery in front of an A-list guest list. We’re looking at you, Taylor Swift and Paul Rudd. It was basically the Met Gala meets coastal California. Nestled between the mountains and the Pacific, Santa Barbara is a slice of California that’s as laid-back as it is luxurious. It’s all seaside vibes, Spanish architecture, and small-town charm. You can peruse local farmers markets on the State Street promenade, go vineyard hopping in Santa Barbara Wine Country, or soak up the area’s history at the Mission Santa Barbara. It’s coastal romance done right. No wonder Selena chose it for her big day.

Kenya

The wild called. And Selena picked up the phone immediately. In December 2019, Selena traveled to Kenya on a private charity mission with the WE Foundation. It was a trip that deeply moved her. She opened up about the trip in her 2022 documentary, sharing that “part of her heart [was] still in Kenya.” Far from the flashing cameras, Selena spent her days meeting locals, visiting schools, and connecting with children whose lives were transformed by education programs. She even bonded with orphaned elephants at a sanctuary. Beyond Selena’s trip, Kenya offers travelers endless adventure. Take a sunrise safari in Maasai Mara National Reserve, visit Lake Nakuru to see flocks of flamingos, bask in the glory of Mount Kenya, the country’s highest peak.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

In August 2025, Selena took her bachelorette party south of the border — Cabo San Lucas, to be specific. Selena and her girl squad celebrated her upcoming nuptials with boat trips on turquoise water, cocktails on the beach, and hotel suites decked out in bride-themed decor (complete with cutouts of Benny Blanco’s face). But you don’t need a special occasion to visit Cabo. The city has a way of turning any trip into a sun-soaked celebration. Mornings start with poolside mimosas, and evenings end at beach clubs with tequila. Looking for the perfect photo-op for Insta? Head to El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, a giant rock formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Gulf of California. Then, explore the vibrant Cabo Marina for bustling nightlife, local eats, and chic waterfront boutiques where you’ll find that perfect fiesta ‘fit.

Where to stay: Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

Cannes, France

The French Riviera is no stranger to famous faces. In May 2024, Selena Gomez graced the Côte d’Azur when promoting her movie Emilia Pérez at the Cannes Film Festival. And she did it in true starlet fashion. Couture gowns, jewels that sparkled in that Mediterranean sun, and those iconic red-carpet steps. But beyond the glitz, this coastal gem is all about effortless elegance. The Boulevard de la Croisette is lined with palm trees, luxury boutiques, and chic bistros where you can sip espresso with a seaside view. Or, get lost in the winding streets of Le Suquet — the old town. Here, the Hollywood glamour is traded for true fishing village vibes. And foodies won’t want to miss the neighborhood’s Marché Forville. This is where you can buy everything from local produce, to fresh flowers and fish straight from the water. It takes eating local to a whole new level.

Where to stay: Château de Théoule

Turks & Caicos

There’s nothing like a New Year’s getaway. Selena wrapped up 2021 with a family trip to Turks and Caicos, and honestly, we can’t think of a better way to end the year. The Caribbean island is known for its powdery white sands, calm blue waters, and ultra-luxury resorts. You can snorkel at Smith Reef, kayak through a maze of cays in Chalk Sound Lagoon, or get your adrenaline pumping with some water tubing, like Selena and her fam did. For animal lovers, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the islands’ wildlife; from wild donkeys at Grand Turk Lighthouse to rock iguanas at Little Water Cay and friendly stingrays at Gibbs Cay. But really, sometimes the best part of an island vacay is doing nothing at all — preferably with a cocktail in hand.
