’Tis the season for the genetically bestowed and exceptionally talented to hit the slopes. And some of these celebs shred it. Here are where some of your favorites of the moment are skiing, like it’s 2019.
The Celebs: Kendall, Gigi and Bella (No last names needed)
The Spot: Aspen
The perennial favorite of the celebs, Aspen’s charm as a town, the excellent dining scene and Cloud 9, are just a few of the reasons celebs love this town. But for all the glitz and glamour that is Aspen, and there is a plethora of it, at the end of the day it’s about the clean mountain air, friendliness of the locals and of course, excellent skiing, that keeps celebs coming back, year after year.
The Celebs: Sandra Bullock, Harrison Ford and Matthew McConaughey
The Spot: Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole for us is in addition to, not in lieu of Aspen. These cousins, just an hour apart by flight, could not be more different, but yet somehow similar. As for Jackson, we have one word, actually two, that distinguish it, and that’s the Grand Tetons, some of the most majestic mountains in the United States. This is where the serious skiers and back country adventurers head for the season, with less social scene and more adventure.
The Celebs: Prince William and Duchess Catherine
The Spot: Verbier
We know that Wills and Kate probably have more on their plates right now than to think about a ski holiday, but pre-2020, this was the spot they returned, year after year. One of the most challenging places to ski in the world, Verbier takes back country skiing next level. There’s scene here, where this British-heavy crowd definitely knows how to party, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the powder.
