Favorite Destination
It’s too hard to pick just one, but I can narrow it down to three: the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, as well as Italy and Aruba. I am happiest wherever I can connect with animals and nature on my travels, and also enjoy delicious coffee.

Islas del Rosario in Colombia, South America and Mayan Riviera in Mexico.
On My Bucket List
New Zealand, Japan, Spain, Hawaii and to experience every corner of Australia and Italy.
Travel Philosophy
Plan to take what you need to be comfortable at your destination, so that you can enjoy where you are and avoid stressing over being without certain necessities. I am not a light packer! And something I just learned from my past trip in Italy, is to be open to changing plans, so that you can experience incredible things you never imagined.

Jen travels frequently between Australia and Canada, as her beloved husband is in Australia, while her family lives in Toronto. So, packing luggage, long-haul flights, time differences and jetlag have become the norm for her after so many years. She has lived in different places in the world for her education, earning her Communication & Media Studies and Sociology degrees in Toronto, a Master’s degree in Education in Florida, followed by a Post-Graduate Teaching Degree in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. She is completely fluent in Spanish, conversational in French and currently advancing her Italian. Language, writing and travel have always been some of her greatest passions in life.
