If there’s one person who can make ski clothes look cool, it’s Pharrell Williams. But then again, the man is a fashion icon, so that’s hardly surprising. For the latest Louis Vuitton ski collection, Pharrell pulled out all the stops to make you look as good on the streets as on the slopes – and that’s no easy feat.
Pharrell x Louis Vuitton
When in 2023 Louis Vuitton appointed Pharrell Williams as its creative director for the men’s collections, it was a bit of a surprise to everyone. Yes, Pharrell had collaborated with the luxury brand twice before (in 2004 and 2008), and yes, he had previously partnered with Chanel, Adidas, Moncler and Uniqlo, but still — nobody was expecting such a move from LV. The decision paid off, however. Pharrell’s creative vision has proven to be incredibly sharp, taking Louis Vuitton menswear to new heights – including snowy mountaintops.
Louis Vuitton Ski By Pharrell

The real difficulty with designing ski clothes is keeping the technical aspects of the garments, while making them look glamorous. Ski pants should be warm, snowproof, and should provide a lot of coverage — so making them look elegant and perfectly-fitted is a challenge. The same goes for ski jackets, pullovers, thermal tops, and so on. Yet, somehow, Pharrell managed.
The Monogram Down Blouson has everything you’d expect from a ski jacket: snap buttons, elasticated cuffs and hem, and an adjustable hood. Yet, it looks like a high-end streetwear piece. It bears the LV monogram and the brand’s signature brown color, and has a very flattering cut. This piece is retailed for $4,550 on Louis Vuitton’s website.

Our personal favorite is the beige Technical Corduroy 3 In 1 Shell Jacket ($6,750). Why has nobody ever thought of using corduroy for ski clothes? It looks way better than GORE-TEX, needless to say.
Even the brand’s ski helmet ($2,400), with its round shape, monogrammed exterior, and quilted leather details look stylish.

The coziest, fuzziest items in the collection are the Yeti Slip Ons ($2,420). You’ll want to wear them all winter long, whether you need to rest your feet after a long day of black-diamond runs, or just to be comfy at home.
