For its foray into the world of makeup, Louis Vuitton didn’t hold back. The brand hired none other than legendary Pat McGrath as the creative director of its beauty branch. She’s only the most famous makeup artist in the world, no big deal.
La Beauté Louis Vuitton launched globally on August 29, 2025 with a small collection comprising lipsticks, lip balms, eyeshadows, and makeup accessories. In total, Louis Vuitton now sells 55 shades of lipsticks (matte and glossy), 10 different lip balms, eight eyeshadow palettes, and eight beauty accessories. The accessories range from simple brushes to leather vanity cases, lipstick pouches, mattifying paper cases, etc. and they’re so pretty, we want them all.
The Price of The Louis Vuitton Lipsticks
The monogrammed lipsticks and lip balms start at $160 – only the collection’s individual makeup brushes are cheaper, starting at $105. After all, the Louis Vuitton lipstick is supposed to stay on for 12 hours, and it has a lovely fragrance of mimosa, rose, and jasmine. In fact, the LV lipstick is the most expensive of all the high-end makeup brands. Chanel and Hermès make lipsticks and lip balms for a lot less, for example. Chanel’s lip balms start at $40 and its lipsticks start at $50, while Hermès’ lip balms and lipsticks start at $81. Even the refills (yes, Louis Vuitton’s lipsticks and lip balms are refillable) cost $69.
