As the CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Christine directs the strategy, business development and editorial content of Galavante. Christine also contributes to writing travel reviews, using her trips to over 100 countries and over 700 luxury hotels and counting as inspiration. Travel has been her passion ever since her college study abroad as an exchange student at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. While her accommodations have greatly changed since her backpacking days in Europe, her philosophy to maximize her experiences in every city has not.
Before launching Galavante, Christine worked for private equity firm The Blackstone Group. With a demanding career and limited time off, she wanted to make the most out of long weekends by knowing exactly where to stay and what to do. Until Galavante, she couldn’t find an adequate travel resource that gave her targeted recommendations or understood her interests as a working jet set traveler.
When Christine isn’t trekking around the world, she can be found in New York City. Christine is conversational in French and German, and a beginner in Spanish. As an active part of that community, Christine has been a Board Member of the New York Junior League, a Young Associate at the Metropolitan Opera and a Young Fellow at the Frick Collection. Christine also has an MBA from Columbia University.
