This is not your Grandma’s Boca. If you don’t know yet, Boca is where to be, especially when stay at the Beach Club at The Boca Raton, just in time for the Artisans of Wine & Food festival this January. The Wine & Food festival launched in 2025, and it is a gathering of the largest number of Napa vineyards in a festival outside of Napa. Top vineyards including Groth and Grgich come for a weekend full of gourmet dinners, wine tastings, daytime food festivals, celebrity chefs like Mario Carbone and a grand gala. It’s quite the Boca social event and is one of the most elegant and elevated festivals organized. You can buy tickets here for the weekend events from January 15-18, 2026. And, of course, the Beach Club at Boca Raton is where to stay.
Overview
The Beach Club is part of The Boca Raton and has been completely refurbished to a level that it’s never seen under previous ownership. If you want to see what a $130 million renovation will get you, the answer is: a pretty perfect modern beach hotel. Now owned by Michael Dell and part of his personal portfolio, we would say that the Beach Club has achieved the best version of itself at this stage. While The Boca Raton’s main property channels old school glamour, the Beach Club embodies light and modern beachfront living.
The Beach Club leads with a design-forward focus and is especially compelling for those who are into interior design. Now a year on since the renovation was completed, and The Beach Club is firmly established as a weekend retreat that fits almost all sizes. From couples, groups, and families, to singles and even solo travelers, the Beach Club at The Boca Raton is a vibe.
Atmosphere
Set right on the water with its own private beach, The Beach Club at The Boca Raton gives off chic, fresh, light and bright energy. The contemporary decor with design-forward light installations and a grand living room/lounge space creates a gathering spot for just as many locals as there are hotel guests. Like the entire Boca Raton complex (which is a private club), there’s a sense of community at The Beach Club. This is not your stodgy country club, though, but rather a young, energetic scene for people-watching.
Rooms
It’s just about one year since The Beach Club at The Boca Raton reopened after a massive refurbishment. The Beach Club is where you stay when you want the ocean and beach experience front and center. Rooms are impeccably clean and contemporary in design, where many of them are framed by the view of the ocean with floor-to-ceiling windows. The color palate and linens are light and serene, with a touch of whimsical pinks and salmon.
The design and appointments of the room were especially well thought-out. I liked that the furniture was functional, in addition to design-forward. In lieu of closets, you had a contemporary wardrobe, along with built-in desks. I especially loved the carpeting of the rooms, which was a monochrome textured pattern of cream that gave that extra design element.
Larger suites have modern couches that are Roche-Bobois-inspired, and all top-of-the-line finishes. I had been in the rooms the year prior, and they were perfectly nice, but the renovation brought The Beach Club up a few levels of luxury.
Dining
Dining at The Beach Club blends high-end coastal cuisine with a relaxed beachside sensibility. Marisol, the signature restaurant, delivers Mediterranean-inspired dishes anchored by fresh seafood, local produce, and like the decor, modern coastal flavors. Expect crudo, grilled branzino, salads, and beautifully executed mains — all served in an airy oceanside setting. Breakfast is especially strong, with Shakshuka and challah French toast.
I especially like The Living Room, which is a fun spot to order up appetizers to share. I still dream of the fish tacos and the lobster and hamachi crispy roll. Actually, all of the sushi is tops. By day, it feels more casual, and there’s a coffee counter open as well for quick grab-and-go. At night, they dim the lights and it becomes more lounge-y, and a place you could have a proper drink on date night.
Poolside dining has an elevated lunch buffet — with daily changing creative salads and warm dishes inspired by Puerto Rican cuisine. You don’t have to go very far either to have full access to The Boca Raton’s dining universe — including Major Food Group restaurants like Principessa. The Beach Club is five minutes by boat, which runs frequently over to the main resort. Because it’s a private club, outside guests don’t have access to what are the top restaurants in Boca. The resort is definitely where you want to stay for meals.

Experiences
They call it The Beach Club for a reason. The hotel has a private stretch of Atlantic beachfront, where the main objective is to get your fix of Vitamin D. Beach attendants are on-hand to make sure you do that while you have a cocktail in hand.
Boating is a thing in these parts, but really, when I come to the resort, it’s to hang by the beach. When I feel ambitious, I head over to the spa in the main resort, which is in its own separate complex. For me, the agenda is essentially eat, drink, beach, spa and repeat.
