While I’m spending my time in New York this summer as we prepare Galavante’s public launch this fall, my mind wanders to Italy quite often. This week, we are in Amalfi, the namesake town of the famed coast.

I’ve traveled to Italy numerous times since that first trip to Florence in college, but never to Amalfi until this past Spring. Now I’ve experienced it myself, I can say with full confidence that besides Positano, Amalfi is the most picturesque place in Italy. It’s surreally beautiful driving through the coast, where the roads require skills like Mario Andretti. Luckily, my husband, and all-time favorite travel partner, was up to the task. It just seemed like I had saved Amalfi for the most perfect time in my life. Though I think that anytime you travel to Amalfi is that perfect time.
