This week, we return to galavanting around the world as we prepare for New Year’s Eve. The celebrations in Buenos Aires and the Punta del Este are legendary, with the latter earning the distinction as the St. Tropez of South America. Meleena Bowers, our Galavante Special Contributor, makes us feel as if we are there, experiencing the sultry vibe and beauty of these two cities. This is a purely hedonistic galavante. BA and the Punta are where you go to experience the people, the late night dinners post 10pm and clubbing at 2am until the sun comes up.

There’s no pressing need to wake at the crack of dawn to sightsee; it’s the place to just enjoy for the sake of enjoyment. And for the NYE holiday, where very few places can beat.
