Today we are galavanting to Hong Kong, my favorite city in Asia. It’s just enough British influence but enough exotic Asia to seduce you. On my first trip to Hong Kong, I loved the city so much I started to make plans to move there with my husband. We were in the middle of trying to make it happen when my husband got a job offer he couldn’t refuse in New York. While to me, New York is the greatest city in the world and will always be home, I just connect with Hong Kong. It’s a good life in the world of private clubs, beautiful restaurants and full-time staff at your beck and call. From the views in the IFC and the top of Victoria Peak, you feel like the Master of the Universe. And there are many of them in Hong Kong; I recently read the Departures article that every one of the top 40 richest people in Hong Kong is a billionaire, whose combined assets exceed over $140 billion. And to keep those people entertained, Hong Kong has become an even bigger scene.
A big thank you to our locals Misty Das and Jackie Antonio for their gorgeous recommendations. We hope you get to experience Galavante’s Hong Kong.
All the best,
