The Little Nell Comes to NYC

The Little Nell is well known with ski enthusiasts or anyone who loves a good trip to Aspen. This luxury hotel is one of the top places to stay in Colorado and has guests coming back every year. Vacationers enjoy the slopes during the winter ski season and the mountain greenery during the summers. Recently, it was announced that Little Nell will open its second outpost in New York City’s 10 Rockefeller Plaza. As a result, you’ll no longer have to fly to Aspen to get the quality service they’re known for. Although a trip to Aspen is always a good idea. Here’s what you need to know about the exciting new deal that’s in the works.

10 Rockefeller Plaza

Remote work hasn’t gone away and as a result more and more office spaces are left empty. This has especially true in New York City, who’s streets were once bustling with office workers. The real estate business is trying to cope as it goes through a period of transformation. The Little Nell is coming in at the peak of all this change. It plans to take over ten floors of vacant office space in the building. This would place the hotel directly above the famous “Today Show,” an attraction in of itself. Additionally, the location is close to nearby New York highlights like MoMA, Times Square, Central Park, and Broadway. A collection of new top tier restaurants have also opened in the area. Le Rock, L’Avenue, and 5 Acres, to name a few, are consequently bringing new interest to Midtown.

Little Nell NYC

The Little Nell’s new venture aims to place itself in one of the most coveted areas in Manhattan. It’s planning to create a hotel that includes 130 rooms with a tentative opening debut in 2026. However in order to open the hotel needs to first get approval from the city. This historic deal will be closely watched as it will set a new standard for converting office spaces within the city. The Little Nell is marketing its move as a way to accommodate both tourists and corporate customers. It aims to bring its reputation and luxury experience to one of the most visited places in the world. As the process progresses we’ll be looking on with excitement for the Little Nell to make its mark on NYC.
