There’s no stopping the Rosewood Hotel Group. Not content with owning and operating 42 hotels throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, the brand has 16 more properties in the works. The next opening, however, is unique in Rosewood’s portfolio. Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, opening on December 19, 2025, is the hospitality group’s very first winter resort. And because Rosewood doesn’t hold back when it comes to creating luxury properties, it opted for one of the most exclusive spots in the French Alps: the village of Courchevel 1850.
The Location of Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin

Rosewood couldn’t have picked a better spot for its first-ever winter property. Courchevel is one of the swankiest ski resorts in the French Alps and it’s the world’s largest ski area.
Courchevel consists of six villages: Saint-Bon, Le Praz, La Tania, Moriond, Courchevel Village, and Courchevel 1850, the latter being the highest (1850 meters in altitude, i.e. 6069 feet) and the most prestigious of them all. It’s packed with ultra-luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and high-fashion boutiques.
What to Expect at Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin
Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin is a ski-in-ski-out resort — so you won’t have to put in any effort to enjoy the slopes. Guests even have access to a Ski Concierge team, whose work it is to make your skiing day as fun as possible. If you want to have a traditional alpine dinner in a remote chalet way up in the mountains, they can arrange that for you, no problem.
Amenities at Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin
When not outside enjoying Courchevel’s world-famous runs, guests get to take advantage of the great work of designer Tristan Auer. He renovated the site these past few years to transform it into a high-end modern chalet that mixes contemporary and traditional styles to perfection.

The hotel has 51 rooms and suites, as well as three residences. In this case, we’ll let the photos speak for themselves. If you come with family and friends, opt for the stunning Jardin Alpin Apartment that can accommodate up to eight guests, or the Salire two-bedroom house that can welcome six people. Their numerous outdoor terraces, and the views they provide, are worth the trip alone. Rooms at Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin start at €2,300, i.e. $2,650 per night.

A ski resort of that caliber is obviously overflowing with all the amenities you can possibly imagine. There are retail and ski rental spaces, and a restaurant that will make après-ski your favorite part of winter. Of course, there’s also a spa where you can enjoy a variety of treatments, including a Ski Legs Revival treatment to soothe your tired muscles after a day in the snow, as well as reiki sessions, sound baths, massages, facials, pilates classes, and more.
