After-Work Drinks in NYC

Welcome back to the office. Most of us are back in person, at least a few days a week. Which is a good enough excuse to schedule after-work drinks in NYC. Remember those? Well, they’re back in full swing, and we’re here to remind you about the Baccarat Hotel. Yes, the cocktails are around $30 each, and yes, they’re served in Baccarat crystal.  We also think they’re worth it.  Here’s the review.

A Midtown Locale

Situated on 5th Ave between 55th and 56th Sts, the Baccarat Hotel is one of the poshest places for after-work drinks in NYC. The Baccarat fuses modern and opulent French design, with you guessed it, lots of Baccarat crystal.  This luxurious hotel provides a perfect setting for those looking to meet up with coworkers for after-work drinks in NYC.

Opened by the renowned crystal company of the same name, the Baccarat Hotel is the exception to mediocre hotels in NYC. The décor of the hotel is inspired by French elements, but has a modern vibe. We would venture to say it’s one of the best hotels in town, in addition to having one of the best scenes for after-work drinks in NYC.

Crystal & Cashmere for You and All Your Friends

There are 2,000 iconic harcourt glasses in the entryway and they spare no luxury guest rooms and suites. Rooms have luxurious touches like cashmere throws and crystal stemware accompanying the guest room minibars. Each element at the Baccarat Hotel is exquisitely designed.  Not only is this the place for after-work drinks in NYC, the Baccarat Hotel is in its own category.

$1 million in glassware

The luxurious theme continues throughout the hotel and into the bar.  The décor of the hotel is inspired by French elements, but has a modern, cool vibe. Stocked with $1 million in Baccarat glassware when they opened, the bar provides some of the best after-work drinks in NYC.  All served in Baccarat crystal stemware, of course.

Beautiful Bites

To accompany the drinks,  which include cocktails like “Baccarat Rouge” and “Petite Marie”, Baccarat brings back the art of the canapé.  You can choose from simple artisanal charcuterie and cheese plates.  Or you can go big and try a tiered appetizer platter with delicacies such as oysters, caviar, crab avocado and mini lobster rolls. Order two now; the tiered canapés are not only beautiful, but delicious.
