An Affordable (Relatively Speaking) Hotel In the Hamptons

Hamptons Round Tree

No, we aren’t conjuring a unicorn in full regalia here. We’ve actually found a luxury hotel in the heart of Amagansett that for the average Joe is a treat, but you’re not average. This is one of the only five-star spots that won’t make a (sizable) dent in your wallet.

The Roundtree is a brand-new hotel set on two acres of sprawling farmland of the Hamptons. It is intimate with 15 rooms — 10 guestrooms and suites in the main house and barn and five cottages. Though the hotel is brand new, the buildings are rich with history. Even so, each room is up to date with modern luxe furnishings and technology. And while the Roundtree is inspired by the gorgeous farmland it sits on, it still sits right in the heart of Amagansett, where we recommend you hit the beach, shop too much and dine at your fave spots.

Feeling like breakfast in bed? They’ve got you covered. They’ll also supply you with bikes to hit the trails. And if you want to have one of those East Coast summer barbeques with the kids, they will help grab your groceries to throw on the onsite grill. Best of all, you’re not paying nearly what you are for some of the nearby hotels and it doesn’t feel like you’re sacrificing any of the luxury.
