There are few better things in this world than checking into a luxury hotel. The staff is devoted to making your life a dream, and the amenities, from the spa to the restaurant to the pool, never disappoint. The only issue with staying at an upscale hotel? It’s always too short. Having to go back to your regular house, no matter how fancy, is always a downer. But what if we told you that you could make your favorite high-end hotel your home? A lot of top hospitality brands are now offering exceptional residences for travelers who want to extend their vacations forever. And to make your life easier, we selected the creme de la creme of hotel residences so you can turn your life into a never-ending luxe getaway.

Aman Hotel Residences

Aman has a cult following like no other brand out there – and the obsession is entirely justified. Aman’s properties are architecturally beautiful, intimate, exquisitely decorated, and the staff offers the highest level of service and privacy you’ll find anywhere in the world. And the best part about the brand is that it has so many establishments that you’ll likely find one wherever you decide to vacation. In total, they have 35 hotels and resorts in 20 countries – and these numbers are growing every year.

For those who want more than a short-term stay, however, Aman also has residences available for purchase in 24 destinations, from Beverly Hills to Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Turkey, Greece, and more. While it’s nearly impossible to pick a favourite, the Aman Niseko Residences currently under construction in Hokkaido, Japan are giving us all the feels. The residences will be on the slopes of Mount Moiwa within a nature reserve for the ultimate escape from the urban chaos. The focus will be on outdoor pursuits and wellbeing, with the Aman Spa and Wellness Centre and the indoor and outdoor hot springs bringing all the relaxation and pampering you’ll ever need.

Baccarat Hotel Residences

Did you know that Baccarat, the French luxury house renowned for its fine crystal, runs a hotel in Manhattan? The Baccarat Hotel New York, located right across MoMa, is a one-Michelin-key property that is, unsurprisingly, packed with glittering crystal chandeliers and other gorgeous glassware. While the entire hotel is stunning, the most impressive part of this 114-room establishment is the bar – a glamorous spot where all the NYC A-listers like to gather to sip flutes after flutes of Veuve Cliquot.

Although there is only one Baccarat hotel, there are multiple Baccarat Residences – and more coming soon. There are 60 units in New York City, and many more are coming, including in Brickell, Miami; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Dubai, UAE; and in the South Male Atoll, Maldives. If the New York iteration is anything to go by, we can expect a lot of glitz and shimmer from these future luxury residences.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Residences

Mandarin Oriental is a luxury hospitality brand that needs no introduction. With 45 hotels and 36 rental homes in nearly 40 destinations around the world (and more coming), you’ll find a Mandarin Oriental property wherever your travel bucket list takes you. And for those who dream of something a little more permanent without having to give up the top-notch amenities and services offered by Mandarin Oriental, there are plenty of options.

There are 15 Mandarin Oriental residence resorts all over the world, from Macau to London, Muscat, Taipei, Beverly Hills, and more. And there are many more in the works, including in Boca Raton, Honolulu, Madrid, Munich – to name a few. The ones we’re looking for the most, however, are the 42 residences that will soon open on 67 acres of elevated lush land in Grand Cayman. The first Mandarin Oriental residence project in the Caribbean will, unsurprisingly, offer great views of the Caribbean Sea, excellent amenities, as well as a full-time team of staff to take care of your every needs and whims.

Six Senses Hotel Residences

Six Senses, a brand owned by IHG Hotels &Resorts, has a total of 26 luxury resorts and five-star hotels around the world – and 20 of them have Michelin keys. And if that isn’t a surefire sign that Six Senses is doing something right, we don’t know what is. But while staying at a Six Senses property is one of the best experiences you can have, owning a Six Sense residence is even better.

Six Senses has residences in 14 destinations. There are residences in Courchevel, Crans-Montana, and Kitzbühel for winter sports enthusiasts; in Fiji, Thailand, and the Bahamas for beach lovers; and in Dubai and London for those who prefer the hustle and bustle of cities. As the owner of a Six Senses residence, whether that’s a villa or an apartment, you get to take advantage of all of the brand’s exceptional amenities, all the while enjoying the utmost privacy. And, of course, Six Senses’ focus on wellness, sustainability, and local culture is just as prevalent in its residences as it is in its hotels and resorts.

Raffles

Raffles owns some of the most renowned luxury hotels around the world. Le Royal Monceau in Paris? That’s Raffles’. The OWO in London? Raffles’ again. Let’s not even mention The Raffles Singapore, the city-state’s only three-Michelin-key property and the most iconic.

Raffles tend to favor quality over quantity when it comes to developing its portfolio of hotels, and the same goes for its residences. The brand only has four residence projects (in Boston, London, Jakarta, and Jeddah), but all are exceptional. And, needless to say, having a Raffles as your home address is a flex very few can pretend to.
