If there’s one celebrity who seems totally down to earth, that would be Chris Martin. You know, he seems like a guy you can just bro down with, over a taco and a beer. Like he’s not one of the biggest rockstars, and was married to an Oscar-winner. Yes, that’s a stretch. But hare vacay the spots where you can at least vacation like Chris Martin.
Palma De Mallorca
Chris is notorious for keeping the lowest possible profile so its hard to get deets on his whereabouts. But we’ve got the scoop. Recently he and significant other, Dakota Johnson, were spotted on a dinghy enjoying the European coast. The pair keep it cool and casual and obviously super hush hush. If we had a say in planning their vacation, we’d put them up at Cap Rocat. The renovated citadel creates a unique atmosphere of seclusion and privacy. The hotel puts elegance and architecture at the top of their priorities. That, and the highlight is definitely the spa. For the low-key luxury and unique aesthetic, this is where to vacation like Chris Martin.
The Hamptons
Who says exes can’t be friends? Though Chris and Gwyneth “consciously uncoupled” in 2016, they clearly have repaired their differences. They have even been spotted double dating with their current partners, Brad Falchuk and Dakota Johnson. Their foursome spot? On the beach in the Hamptons, where Gwyneth and Chris shared a home in Amagansset. If you want to stay in the area, we would suggest the Roundtree. The new-ish hotel is on beautiful grounds and is relatively affordable for the area. But Chris probably didn’t need a hotel; we wouldn’t put it past Gwyneth to put them all up in her Hamptons home.
Antigua
Apparently family vacations are the glue that hold the uncoupled home relatively together. It makes sense. It’s hard to remember your differences when you’re in the Caribbean. Chris reportedly loves the ocean, and will take every opportunity to go for a swim. We love that they chose Antigua especially now during pandemic times. The islands have been welcoming visitors for awhile and are no doubt the number one choice for an indulgent vacation. Our recommendation for Chris is to stay at Jumby Bay, the most luxurious resort on island.
