Celebs in the Hamptons 2022

It’s been another epic summer in the Hamptons. We know the place is a playground for the rich and famous, everyone here seems just like us. They go to the farmstand for corn; to the Starbucks on Main Street for coffee; and out for a slice of za and ice cream in Sag Harbor. Here’s where the celebs in the Hamptons were spotted this year out East.

The Spot: Michael Rubin’s 4th of July White Party

This July 4th was the first since the start of the pandemic that actually started to feel normal. That of course means that the Hamptons parties were back in full swing. You can’t talk about celebs in the Hamptons either without the most coveted invitation of the year. The top invitation of the summer is billionaire Michael Rubin 4th of July White Party. Hosted at Rubin’s $50 million Bridgehampton estate, long-time friend Noah Tepperberg’s Tao did up the catering. After all, you have to feed the crowd, and you know it’s a big deal when Beyonce and Jay-Z are on the guest list. This year, the likes of everyone from Kendall Jenner, Robert Kraft, Emily Ratajkowski, Ryan Seacrest, and Drake were also in the house. In fact Drake, and Travis Scott, among others performed at the bash.

The Spot: Le Bilboquet

Of course, the main stay restaurants and bars like Le Bilboquet and 75 Main have hosted several celebrity dinners and parties. 75 Main saw Kendall Jenner behind the bar pouring shots of her own brand, 818 Tequila, for lucky guests in June.

The Spot: Casa Del Sol

It’s clear that celebrities are ready to be out and about again in the Hamptons. Eva Longoria’s high-end tequila brand hosted a disco party at their beachfront mansion in Amagansett. With tequila flowing and fish tacos and caviar to soak up the alcohol, guests like Trevor Noah and Alec Baldwin dropped by and DJ Diplo performed at the event.

The Spot: Mi Casi Es Su Casa

The theme of this summer in the Hamptons is clearly private house party. Notables like director Rob Mckinley and fashion designer and DJ Mei Kwok joined actors and sports stars at another private and intimate gathering as well as other soirees in mostly undisclosed Hamptons locations.

The Spot: Make-A-Wish Foundation Gala

Celebrities and influencers didn’t just party for the sake of a good time, they also turned up to make a difference. The Make-A-Wish Foundation all-white party was back and better than ever, and raised double the projected target. Mike Donaghy, whose family members sit on the board of the metro chapter, raised $100,000 for the charity. Mike cohosted the party with celebrity producer Matt Ratner, who brought a crowd of insiders.

Eva Longoria’s tequila brand, Casa Del Sol, as well as Tanqueray gin and nonalcoholic Poppi soda sponsored the event. Anything to encourage generosity, while having a good time. The beachside party saw guests dancing into the morning hours to DJ sets from Oli Benz.

The Spot: TJ Maxx

You can find a huge party out East, but some celebs in the Hamptons are looking to stay just outside of the limelight. Amber Heard, for instance, was spotted a safe distance from the festivities at a coveted TJ Maxx in Bridgehampton. Because stars, sometimes they really are just like us. Everyone likes a good bargain no and then.

The summer is almost over, the secret is if you’re looking to see celebs in the Hamptons, you’ll find them almost any time.
