The jetsetter lifestyle isn’t all about hotels and airplanes. Sometimes it’s about cars, too. And where better to stay up-to-date on the latest and greatest in the automotive world, than the Chicago Auto Show? The largest auto show in North America.
The 117th edition of the Chicago Auto Show, was held at the iconic McCormick Place. It showcased a dazzling array of over 1,000 vehicles. We’re talking the latest models from top manufacturers like Subaru, Ford, Jeep, Lucid, and Rivian. This year’s show focused on cutting-edge electric vehicles, innovative concept cars, and thrilling test tracks – the future of the automotive industry. So, whether you’re a car enthusiast or simply curious about the latest advancements, these are our highlights from this year’s top luxury electric vehicles, as seen at the Chicago Auto Show of 2025.
2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ
This is Cadillac’s first electric version of their best-selling SUV (the Escalade was introduced in 1999). The Cadillac IQ is all new for 2025, and is a full-size, three-row electric SUV that seats up to 7 passengers. In particular, the presence and stance of the arching design and overall size of the car are impressive.
With an estimated 450 miles from a single charge, and up to 750 horsepower, you can easily haul this people-mover up to 60 mph in “less than” 5 seconds. Additionally, an 800-volt DC fast-charging system promises up to 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes of charging time. Pricing will start around $130,000.
2025 Lucid Gravity
The Lucid Gravity will ground major car manufacturers in the electric SUV market, especially after it’s award-winning introduction of the ultra-high-end Lucid Air in 2022. After receiving MotorTrend’s Car of the Year award, this all-electric SUV is engineered for performance, luxury and efficiency. Conveniently, the newly designed aerodynamic shape and a bespoke interior has enough room for 7 adults. And better yet, an EPA range of up to 450 miles and access to the Tesla Supercharger network (the largest network in the US), the Lucid Gravity is perfect for road-tripping.
Manufactured in the US, the Lucid Gravity is assembled in Casa Grande, Arizona, at Lucid Motors’ state-of-the-art AMP-1 (Advanced Manufacturing Plant 1) manufacturing facility. The Lucid Gravity Touring starts at around $79,999. Later in 2025, orders will be available for the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, with an MSRP of $94,999.
2025 Rolls-Royce Spectre
This is the ultimate luxury automotive vehicle that epitomizes the pinnacle of elegance: the 2025 Rolls-Royce Spectre. Traditionally, Rolls-Royce has dominated the top-tier luxury vehicle market. Now, with their first electric vehicle, they will dominate the top-tier luxury electric market. The coupe’s cabin has a lavish interior, which is accessed by a rear-hinged door. The twilight headliner and bespoke interior for customization are especially worth noting.
The 2025 Spectre comes in a single, ultra-luxurious trim level, dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) with over 300 miles on a full charge. Pricing starts at approximately $400,000.
2025 Bentley Continental GT
We would be remiss not to mention the 2025 Bentley Continental GT. The pricing for the 2025 Bentley Continental GT starts at $365,600 for the base model, and can go up to $402,100 for the fully-loaded GT Speed trim. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking.
2025 Lexus TX
Another of our honorable mentions is the 2025 Lexus TX 550h+. It features a magnificent plug-in hybrid option with a powerful V6 engine. Safety features include Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as standard on all models. For $77,210, the Luxury Trim package includes a Panorama Glass Roof, power-folding third-row seats and ventilated front seats. The TX550h+ comes only in top-spec Luxury trim, and its interior is the best Toyota has to offer with wide, comfy seats and plenty of elbow room.
