Those who say the two most important events of the year are Thanksgiving and Christmas have never experienced a Fashion Week. Twice per year, the major fashion houses present their collections for the upcoming seasons and it’s way more exhilarating than a turkey dinner. New designs for fall/winter appear on the catwalk in February and March, while those for spring/summer are shown in September and October. If you weren’t able to catch the shows earlier this year, don’t fret. You still have a chance to see what designers have concocted for the spring/summer 2026 season. To do that, however, you need to be in the right place, at the right time.

The four big fashion weeks take place in New York City, London, Milan, and Paris, and we’ve selected the chicest hotels for you to stay at during the events. Not only will they allow you to be close to the action, but you might just run into some notables in the lobby or elevator. So, get booking and keep an eye out for Anna Wintour once you’re there.

New York City Fashion Week

When: September 11-16, 2025

Schedule of events

Where to stay:

1. The Whitby

Address: 18 W 56th St, New York, NY 10019

This five-star hotel in the heart of Midtown, just two blocks away from Central Park, is a little slice of joy that’s rare to find in luxury accommodations. Instead of the sleek designs and muted colors so common in high-end establishments, this hotel is a harmonious riot of colors and patterns – perfect for the fashion and textile-obsessed travelers. Every bed has its own oversized and intricately crafted headboard, and the rooms are filled with beautifully upholstered sofas and chairs, thick rugs, and vivid art pieces.

If you want to make sure to run into fashion A-listers, partake in the hotel’s famous afternoon tea or dine at the Whitby Bar & Restaurant. The Michelin Guide has awarded The Whitby with three keys, making it one of the top places to stay in New York – and the world.

2. The Surrey

Address: 20 E 76th St, New York, NY 10021

The Surrey, located in the Upper East Side, is a perfect example of classic and quiet luxury. From the elegant Art Deco exterior to the rooms and suites, and the spa, every piece of furniture and decorative element is tasteful, with a soft and neutral color palette that inspires serenity.

Just one block away from Central Park, less than a 10-minute walk from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and next door to the chic boutiques of Fifth Avenue, this establishment is ideal for those who like to wander in between runaway shows. Trendy Italian restaurant Casa Tua, the on-site dining option, is one of the buzziest restaurants in the city right now. The Surrey is the hotel of choice for celebrities and VIPs, including for the Met Gala, so expect to run into a few notables during your stay.

3. The Fifth Avenue Hotel

Address: 1 W 28th St, New York, NY 10001

The Fifth Avenue Hotel is a two-Michelin-key, five-star hotel situated in Midtown, just a few minutes’ walk from New York City’s most famous landmark: the Empire State Building. The perfect location for the fashion-focused travelers who have some spare time to do a little sight-seeing. That is, if you feel like leaving the glittering and colorful beauty of The Fifth Avenue Hotel behind for a few hours. With its velvet upholstery, moody wallpapers, richly painted walls, gold accents, and impressing light fixtures, The Fifth Avenue Hotel is reminiscent of a jewellery box.

The Portrait Bar is an excellent and intimate place for a drink before or after the fashion shows, but Café Carmellini is where you’ll want to enjoy dinner. To say that James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini knows what he’s doing is the understatement of the Fashion Week.

London Fashion Week

When: September 18-22, 2025

Schedule of events

Where to stay:

1. The Emory

Address: Old Barrack Yard, London SW1X 7NP

The Emory is an all-suite hotel situated in the high-end neighborhood of Belgravia. Next door to Hyde Park, 10 minutes from Harrods, and a quick stroll to Buckingham Palace, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better location where to spend London Fashion Week. While the glass and metal building that hosts The Emory is modern, with straight lines and sharp angles, inside it’s a different story. The interior decor is contemporary and errs on the side of minimalism, but the lines are soft and curvy to inspire comfort and coziness.

The rooftop bar, with views over the city, is the place to be seen. But, the Surenne Wellness Club, with its over-the-top offerings, is a close second. The Emory is a one-Michelin-key hotel that keeps things intimate – there are only 61 guest suites.

2. The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair

Address: 22 Hanover Square, London W1S 1JP

There are two Mandarin Oriental hotels in London: Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park and Mandarin Oriental Mayfair. While you can’t go wrong with either, we have a little preference for the Mayfair location. And it might have something to do with the fact that it’s very close to Savile Row and Liberty London, two spots the fashion-conscious travelers wouldn’t miss for the world.

Inside the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair are only 50 rooms, all decorated in neutral and muted colors, to create an atmosphere of tranquility. The red thread among all the rooms are the blossom patterns that adorn the walls and rugs – a touch of Asian decor that softens the modern aesthetic. The spa’s indoor swimming pool with its atmospheric lights is a must-see, and so is The Restaurant, with its striking mural art.

3. At Sloane

Address: 1 Sloane Gardens, London SW1W 8EA

If big, modern luxury hotels aren’t your thing, At Sloane will be. The 30-room hotel that comprises the traditional red-brick Chelsea townhouse is not for those who favor zen interiors. From the textiles to the furniture, the stained-glass windows, and the patterned flooring, this establishment mixes classic decor with a touch of maximalism. It manages to transport its guests through time and space – mostly early 20th-century Paris. The dominant colors of white, cream, chrome, and crimson, add a touch of glamor to an already-alluring aesthetic. The speakeasy, with its moody decor and velvet sofas, is the most atmospheric room of all.

At Sloane is in the upscale neighborhood of Chelsea, across from Sloane Square and five minutes on foot from the famous Saatchi Art Gallery.

Milan Fashion Week

When: September 23-29, 2025

Where to stay:

1. Mandarin Oriental Milan

Address: Via Andegari, 9, 20121 Milano MI

The Mandarin Oriental Milan is the whole package. Not only does the hotel have one Michelin key, but the on-site Italian restaurant, Seta, has two Michelin stars. Needless to say, staying here is a safe bet if what you’re looking for is all-around excellence. The location of this property is equally impressive: 10 minutes to the Duomo on foot, and next door to the Poldi Pezzoli Museum and the famous La Scalla Theater. Most importantly for the keen fashionistas, this hotel is in the heart of the Golden Quadrangle, a world-famous shopping district.

Inside the Mandarin Oriental, the decor is elegant and tasteful, if not a little subdued. Most rooms and suites are furnished with the same high-quality and refined furniture and bear the same plum, cream, and tan color palette. For something a little more edgy, opt for the unique Fornasetti Suite.

The spa offers a variety of treatments, including sound baths. That said, the marble bathrooms in all the rooms and suites are so decadent, you might not even need to visit the spa.

2. Four Seasons Hotel Milano

Address: Via Gesù, 6-8, 20121 Milano MI

While you may not associate 15th-century convents with luxury, comfort, and the heights of fashion, now is the time to change your mind. The home of the Four Seasons Milano is indeed an Early Renaissance convent, complete with a peaceful tree-lined cloister, centuries-old fireplaces, frescoes, and ogival arches. That said, that does not mean that the property is austere. The interior decor is contemporary and tasteful, with just enough colors and patterns to lift up the spirits of any guests.

Because the hotel is right by the Golden Quadrangle, it’s the perfect spot for the shopping-addicted travelers. Of all the 118 rooms and suites, the sunny and light-filled Fresco Suite is the best. Make sure to stop for a generous aperitivo at Stilla Garden to enjoy the beauty of the cloister.

3. Park Hyatt Milano

Address: V. Tommaso Grossi, 1, 20121 Milano MI

Just a few steps away from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a 19th-century glass-covered mall that houses upscale boutiques, Park Hyatt Milano is in the center of the fashion action. But the property’s location isn’t its only asset.

This hotel is a beauty inside and out. What used to be a 19th-century palazzo now comprises 106 rooms decorated in a contemporary Italian style. The color palette is all about warmth, and there’s a lot of curvy furniture for coziness. The Duomo Suite, with its private terrace providing views of the cathedral is our favorite. La Cupola Lounge, with its glass dome, is a good place for a cocktail and a bout of much-deserved daydreaming, but the on-site gastronomic restaurant Pellico 3 Milano is pretty special, too.

4. Portrait Milano

Address: Corso Venezia, 11, 20121 Milano MI

A five minute walk to the Golden Quadrangle, the center of all things fashion in Milan, this small, two-Michelin-key hotel is an ideal place to stay for Fashion Week. Housed in a former 16th-century Baroque monastery, Portrait Milano is an opulent property with a love for jewel colors and velvet. And we’re here for it. A palette of deep crimsons, emerald greens, and soft creams anchors every space in Italy in the most luxurious way. And so do the capacious Carrara marble bathrooms in every room and suite.

The best part of this property could be its enclosed courtyard, or its tree-lined colonnade, but the spa, with its ogival arches take the first place. The on-site Beefbar is the place for meat lovers, but don’t pass on breakfast. The hotel’s morning meal was voted the best in Italy in 2024.

Paris Fashion Week

When: September 29-07 October, 2025

Schedule of events

Where to stay:

1. The Ritz Paris

Address: 15 Pl. Vendôme, 75001 Paris

The Ritz Paris, located Place Vendôme, the center of luxury fashion and jewelry in Paris, is where all the A-listers stay for Fashion Week. And why wouldn’t they? This three-Michelin-key hotel is the most exclusive property in all of France and it looks like a mini Versailles inside. Think priceless antique furniture and art pieces, ostentatious drapery, glittering chandeliers, and canopy beds worthy of royalty.

Of the 142 rooms and suites, the one you want to book for Fashion Week is the Coco Chanel Suite, with its views of Place Vendôme and its private hammam. Iconic designer Gabrielle Chanel did, in fact, live at The Ritz for two years. Visit the beautiful Salon Proust at tea time and head over to Espadon, the one-Michelin-star restaurant, for dinner. Also, don’t forget to spend some time in the hotel’s shopping gallery. You might just find the Dolce & Gabbana or Tasaki piece you’ve been dreaming about.

2. Bvlgari Paris

Address: 30 Av. George V, 75008 Paris

The modern building that Bvlgari Paris calls home might not immediately catch your eye. However, upon entering the lobby, it’s evident that this property is pretty special. The black and gold reception area sets the tone for an exceptional stay in this intimate hotel that comprises only 76 rooms and suites. You can’t go wrong with any of the accommodations, but the Bvlgari Suite, with its terrace, garden, and views over Paris is the most impressive. The on-site Bvlgari Bar is the meeting place of VIPs, so make sure you stop by for a drink or two.

The two-Michelin-key hotel is in the Golden Triangle, the upscale area full of luxury boutique and fashion houses. It’s also less than 10 minutes from the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the Palais de Tokyo, where many of the Fashion Week shows often take place.

3. Fauchon L’Hôtel

Address: 4 Bd Malesherbes, 75008 Paris

Fauchon is better known for being an iconic Parisian gourmet food shop, so Fauchon L’Hôtel is undoubtedly a prime place to eat. Specifically, it’s the on-site Grand Café Fauchon you’ll want to visit for a meal in between runaway shows. Fauchon’s signature color is fuchsia pink, and you’ll find it all over the hotel, from the furniture and carpets in the rooms and suites, to the chairs in the restaurants, and the lights and tiles in the spa. Even the staff’s uniforms has a touch of hot pink. It adds some fun and informality to the five-star hotel, and makes for a distinct background for Insta.

With only 54 rooms and suites, Fauchon L’Hôtel is an intimate establishment that flies under the radar. That’s why it appeals to so many celebrities who want to remain discreet.

4. Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris

Address: 37 Av. Hoche, 75008 Paris

If upon walking towards the Royal Monceau, you’re impressed by its Art Deco facade and its top-hat-wearing doormen, know that this is just the start of a jaw-dropping experience. The 1928 hotel was given a brand-new look in 2008 by French designer Philippe Starck and the interior decor has left guests in awe ever since. Our personal favorite space in the property is the staircase with its seemingly countless mirrors, sparkling chandeliers, and mad-stipes carpet, but the pastel vibe at Il Carpaccio is a close second. Talking about Il Carpaccio, were you aware that it has a Michelin star? Also, just so you know, it was awarded the title of best Italian restaurant in the world in 2024. In other words, make a reservation.

If you book a suite at the Royal Monceau, you’ll be given a special shopping experience at the luxury department store Le Printemps. So, if you want the help of a personal shopper, and to benefit from a five percent discount on everything at Le Printemps, you know what to do.
