India, especially Leh, near the Nepalese border. It is a high-altitude mountain desert and its surreal lunar landscapes left me completely speechless.

-French Polynesia, for the feeling of being at the end of the world, surrounded by nothing but ocean
-Chile, to experience the shift from desert to glacier
