Life just got a little more luxurious in the city. Dior has just opened their first US spa in none other than New York City. And you know they’re not here to play.
Dior teased us with wellness pop-ups: the Dioriviera takeover at Gurney’s Montauk in 2022, sun-soaked cabanas at The Beverly Hills Hotel, and a spa residency at Aspen’s Little Nell. But until now, Dior has never had a permanent location in America. While we’re grateful for the morsels, an outpost in America is overdue, and what better place than New York City? Specifically, on the corner of East 57th Street and Madison Avenue, the same corner where Christian Dior made his US boutique debut in the 1940s.
The spa, nestled at the top of the four-floor fashion house, follows a five-year renovation of the entire building. This is the newest addition to Dior’s wellness destinations since the Dior Spa aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express in 2024. Architect and designer Peter Marino helped design the space, and because we’re hotel nerds, it’s worth a mention that he has also designed for luxury properties like Cheval Blanc Beverly Hills and the Biltmore Four Seasons Santa Barbara.
Dior’s Haute Wellness Science
Dior has coined a few terms for its spa experiences, so understanding the vernacular is the first step in understanding the house’s approach. Similar to the made-to-measure couture Dior offers, Haute Wellness Science tailors a precise treatment plan to each guest. Haute Wellness Science is Dior’s way of fusing expert diagnostics with avant-garde technology treatments as finely tailored as couture.

Another city-specific treatment is the Happiness Light Therapy. Recharge, Recover, and Rest are all part of the spa’s signature circuit, but Happiness was added for the metropolitan lifestyle. Sleep doctor François Duforez collaborated with the spa to stimulate serotonin and dopamine through light. The Golden Aura Facial, for instance, is designed to boost circulation for dry or weathered skin. After gently warming the tissue, your facialist uses a warm gua sha stone to release tension, decongest, and eliminate toxins. The experience culminates under an oxygen mask, amplifying cellular respiration so your skin radiates with a fresh, luminous glow.
For those seeking a more sculpting approach, the Kobi-Dior Facial lifts and plumps while easing facial tension. Combining dry brushing and micro-stimulation, the treatment smooths fine lines and drains blockages that cause puffiness, leaving the complexion both refined and refreshed. Meanwhile, the Hydrofacial addresses dark spots, balances sebum production, and purifies the skin using Dior’s Floral Peeling Lotion paired with LED light therapy.
