B-O-O-K-I-N-G. Okay, clearly I’m not a comedian. However this is my way of announcing that we’ve partnered with an incredible tech company, Outfit, to change the way bookings are done in travel.

Outfit’s last company, Rocketmiles, was acquired by Booking.com. Their latest and greatest gig is an AI-driven bookings platform with custom hotel recommendations. So already, we’re in good company in our mission to shape the travel industry with technology. Check out our announcement of our partnership with Outfit, which in a nutshell is smart hotel recommendations powered by Galavante expertise and Outfit technology. AI is here, and we plan to have a seat at the table to direct how AI will benefit you.

It’s Just the Start

As I contemplated where travel is going with AI, I realized that if we don’t step it up, we just won’t exist in the next five years. I don’t plan to go the Blockbuster Video route and have Netflix push me out of business. But that’s exactly what’s happening in travel. People who have no background in travel are creating tech that is changing the face of travel. Well, I plan to have a seat at that table. So we’re partnering with the smartest tech innovators and developing our own tech to create our own destiny. As long as there are people who like to travel well, we plan to be here for you.

Travel Bookings Will Transform

My vision is that when you come to Galavante to search for travel, first, Cura (our new luxury travel ChatGPT which is launching in a few weeks) will give you recs tailored to you. Once you decide on your hotel, the optimal flights, restaurant recommendations, bars, art exhibits or whatever moves you — will arrive in seconds. All you’ll need to do is point at what you like, click and buy. So instead of 200+ emails to create that perfect vacation, you can be on your way in a matter of minutes. Your time is valuable. We intend to be your place for travel not just today, but many days from now.
