For those who think wellness is just a green juice and a gym pass, Six Senses is here to kindly, elegantly blow your mind. They are known for placing their barefoot luxury resorts in the middle of nowhere (in the best way possible), and now have decided to swap jungle paths for city streets. Their latest outpost? A restored Art Deco icon smack in the middle of London’s Queensway, just steps from Hyde Park. Welcome to Six Senses London, where your chakras can align while you’re still within Uber range of Soho.

About Six Senses

Think of Six Senses as the disrupters of traditional luxury hotels — they meditate at sunrise, grow their own herbs, and somehow still throw the best dinner parties. Their properties are usually tucked away in far-flung places like the Maldives or Bhutan. But this time, they’ve gone urban. Their idea? To create little utopias in big cities, where residents, travelers, and wellness devotees can mingle, detox, and (very gently) take over the world.

Six Senses London

Six Senses London is located inside the grand revival of The Whiteley — a storied department store, transformed into a next-gen lifestyle hub — and it’s set to open in late 2025. They are setting up shop with 109 rooms and suites, 14 branded residences, and enough curated tranquility to make a monk blush. But don’t mistake all this serenity for dullness. There’s going to be a buzzing lobby lounge, where you can chat with friends (or the potted plants). You can also do that in the all-day dining restaurant with an open kitchen (because watching chefs is very now). Or maybe in the leafy courtyard that begs for long lunches and even longer negroni sessions.

Wellness

And then there’s the spa — we’re looking forward to this one in particular. Because it’s Six Senses, we know that the spa is never just a place to get a massage, but a multi-sensory journey. And this one will be complete with a 65-foot pool and an Alchemy Bar (yes, you’ll be mixing potions). There will be also a vaulted-ceiling relaxation room, and 3,500 square feet of fitness space. It’s a kind of urban temple that reflects London itself. Buzzing in one moment, meditative the next. In a city where everyone’s always on the go, Six Senses London offers something rare: a pause. A polished, plant-scented, wellness-obsessed pause — and we’re here for it.

The Club

On the second floor, past the scent of eucalyptus and good decisions, you’ll find the Six Senses Place — a new social and wellness club that’s part co-working lounge, part spa sanctuary, and part brain gym. Members (and lucky residents) can expect thoughtful a programme that goes way beyond networking drinks. We’re talking about growth, reflection, and re-connection — and probably an oat-milk flat white or two. There’s a central bar and lounge, treatment rooms, a restaurant, and enough high-touch amenities to make Soho House feel like a dive bar.
