Imagine John F. Kennedy practicing his 1961 inaugural speech in the privacy of Round Hill. Or, author Ian Fleming working on his James Bond novels. And, lyricist Oscar Hammerstein writing “The Sound of Music” in his villa. Since opening in 1953, the resort has been a preferred vacation getaway for Hollywood Golden Age stars. These famous faces have included Clark Gable, Grace Kelly, Claudette Colbert, and Yul Brynner.
