Ambani Honeymoon in Costa Rica

Ankita Sharma, Staff Writer

When your wedding is a $600 million dollar affair and spanned over a year and a half, you are bound to look for some quiet and peace. That might be the reason why the young Ambanis, Anant and Radhika, went off grid to a place that’s about nature and beauty. However, as you would expect, there was no lack of luxury or roughing it for this phase of the Ambani honeymoon in Costa Rica.

Who are Anant and Radhika Ambani?

Anant Ambani is the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, who owns Reliance Industries. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, India’s leading pharmaceutical tycoon. So of course, the Ambani wedding was one for the books. The happy couple married this July with a lavish wedding ceremony. Celebrities like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra and Justin Bieber, who performed, were in attendance.

The Ambani Honeymoon Hotel: Four Seasons Hotel George V

Destination: Paris, France

To kick off the Ambani honeymoon in Paris, Anant and his new bride joined family for the Olympics. Of course they stayed at one of the most luxurious hotels in town, the Four Seasons Hotel Georges V. The Georges V is located just steps away from the Champs-Élysées and across the street from Hermes. The Georges V makes a statement the moment you walk in with their lavish flower arrangements, for which the Georges V is renowned.

Each room and suite offers a blend of classic French design; there isn’t a bad room in the house. The Georges V is as pretty as it gets as far as hotels go, and the service defines exquisite. The hotel is also home to three Michelin-starred restaurants, which range from one star to three, making it a culinary destination in its own right. Whether you’re sipping champagne on a private terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower or having a drink at the famed bar, the Four Seasons George V is a quintessential Parisian experience.

Average Room Cost: $2500 per night

The Ambani Honeymoon Hotel: Casa Las Olas at The Four Seasons Papagayo

Destination: Guanacaste, Costa Rica

After Paris, the Ambanis headed out to Costa Rica for the second leg of their honeymoon. With its pristine beaches and green landscapes, Costa Rica is one of the most unspoiled and authentic places in the Caribbean. For the Ambani honeymoon in Costa Rica, they chose to stay at Casa Las Olas at The Four Seasons Papagayo. Clearly they are Four Seasons people, since they started out in Paris at the Georges V.

The Four Seasons at the Papagayo Peninsula is a tropical paradise where you can go incognito with your significant other. The villa, Casa Las Olas is a six bedroom compound with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and dense tropical forests. Casa Las Olas is part of the new development of custom villas that are part of the Four Seasons, but not connected to the main hotel. This of course will give the couple complete privacy.

In Costa Rica, the Ambanis can enjoy a range of activities, including snorkeling, hiking, relaxing in the world-class spa, or just hanging around in your infinity pool. If they choose not to stay in their private villa for meals, there are top dining options at the main hotel’s four restaurants. The Ambanis can order everything from sushi to Italian, steak as well as local Costa Rican specialties.

The Ambani honeymoon in Costa Rica has just begun. We know it will be interesting to see where the couple chooses to go next. Our bet is they take an epic worldwide trip to celebrate the occasion.

Average Villa Cost: $30k per night
