Walking around Saint-Tropez, it’s hard to believe it once was a quiet fishing village. Today, you’re more likely to run into Leonardo DiCaprio or Vanessa Paradis than into a fisherman coming back from a hard day’s work at sea. As the most prestigious seaside destination in the south of France, Saint-Tropez is a haven for those who seek out scenery, exclusive beach clubs, luxe shopping opportunities, and amazing food in equally amazing venues. With summer in full swing, it’s time to don your best Brigitte Bardot bikini and pay a visit to the following restaurants, bars, and cafés. They are, quite literally, the crème de la crème of Saint-Tropez.

Cherry

Only open for dinner, Cherry, perched above the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, serves Italian fare alongside dazzling sea views and hip-hop beats. Despite the choice of music, inside, the atmosphere is chic and intimate. There are luscious flowers covering the ceilings, dim lighting, and a palette of deep, luxurious reds. You’d be remiss to pass on the fresh pasta and the very-much-on-brand cherry spritz.

LV Café

While people like to shorten the name of this venue to “LV Café” or “Louis Vuitton Café”, its name is actually Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton. That’s what you put into Google Maps when you’re craving a Michelin-star meal. No matter what you do, don’t pass on dessert – the ice cream concoctions are eye-poppingly-good. Note that this is a seasonal venue so check out the dates and hours of operation before you set off.

Shellona

Shellona is the picture-perfect Saint-Tropez beach club restaurant. After an excellent Greek meal, made using fresh and seasonal products, enjoy the loungers and parasols on Pampelonne Beach, or dance the calories away thanks to the DJ beats. Shellona is only open seasonally, starting in late May.

Marcellino

Located right on the town’s harbor, Marcellino serves Italian and Mediterranean food, in a bright and joyful decor. The terrace is the spot to both people-watch and yacht-watch — the yachts park here all summer. If you like seafood, you’re in the right place – the octopus and tuna dishes are some of the best you’ll ever try.

Dior Café

While closed for renovations until the spring of 2026, Dior des Lices (AKA Dior Café) is an address you need to bookmark for your future visit to Saint-Tropez. Located in a beautiful ivy-covered Provencal home, the café serves an incomparable breakfast – especially the Dior monogram coffees and hot chocolates.

Maison Revka

Open starting from 6 PM for drinks and dinner, Maison Revka is right on Place des Lices, one of the best locations in town. Sit outside on the floral chintz-covered furniture, under the shade of the mature plane trees and among the rose bushes. Don’t forget to try the small caviar pizza.

Noto

Located right by the harbor, Noto is the place to indulge in Sicilian fare in a chic and colorful decor. Fresh pasta and raw fish are some of the menu’s most recommended items. And, there’s live music every night so bring your dancing shoes.

La Petite Plage

Right on the harbor, La Petite Plage’s award-winning chef serves Mediterranean food in a decor that will leave you in awe – it’s an explosion of natural materials, beiges, blues, and gorgeous pink flowers. The atmosphere is casual and dancing is highly recommended at night, when the DJ starts his show. The menu is extensive, and filled with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The goat cheese ravioli and the strawberry basket in particular as worth visiting for.

Bagatelle

Located on the oh-so-chic Pampelonne Beach, Bagatelle is a beach club serving Mediterranean food and desserts – don’t leave before trying their ice creams made from fresh fruit. After your meal, enjoy the pool, the cabanas, and the sun loungers. This is a pretty special spot all around.
