There’s a new game in town, and it could be a game-changer for the island of Anguilla. The Four Seasons has taken over the Viceroy, and the keys have been officially turned over for a re-launch this October 2016. We got the inside scoop on the change in management in New York over dinner at Per Se with Chief Minister Banks earlier this year, and now it’s official.
The property was stellar before, and its location sublime right along prime beach front. Surprisingly, for as large of a portfolio the Four Seasons has, with 99 hotels around the world, this is just the second property in the Caribbean. There were so many aspects we loved about the Viceroy, especially that sunset lounge and killer sushi, but we’re waiting to see what the Four Seasons has in store. If history is a predictor of future things to come, we’re going to like it, We're probably going to like it a lot. We’ll keep you posted.
