Favorite Destination

This one is hard! Having lived in Prague and traveled much of Europe and The Caribbean, my favorite destination would have to be a city right here in the US, which combines both influences: New Orleans. I have yet to experience a culture so authentic, so vibrant, and so alive here on native soil. I go back year after year for the music, the food, and the southern hospitality.

Most Exotic Destination Traveled

Caye Caulker, an island made up of limestone coral off the coast of Belize, has some of the bluest waters I’ve ever seen, and of course some of the best snorkeling. Less than one mile in length, it’s dotted with the most vibrantly colored houses and has an unforgettable laid back beach vibe. When I was there, there was an infamous beach bar who’s connection to the island would disappear with high tide and had some unbeatable sunsets, but sadly I’ve heard it may have been washed away during a hurricane.

Travel Philosophy

The best way to get to know a new culture is through it’s food. Finding the freshest local food is what I seek out on every trip. I’m a bit food obsessed and some say I have a sixth sense when it comes to picking out restaurants (even without a guide book or iPhone)
