The ingredient: Lavagna is Italian food, which can school almost any restaurant in Italy. It’s paired with a top-notch wine list from Austria, France, Spain, and beyond – without the airfare pricing. Don't be surprised if you become a regular, and begin to notice the other regulars too, including that guy who's made Lavagna his second date spot.  

The special: At brunch, eggs are in abundance: sunny-side up, omelets, baked, spicy. There are no wrong choices. Hours later, at dinner, they serve a whole wood-oven-roasted fish flamed in liquor, for two. If you’re eating for one, the Sweet Pea Ravioli in parmesan cream and fresh mint will send you to pasta nirvana.
