The space: The domain of A-listers dining in public sans flashbulb
A Voce in NYCThat's Amore: A Voce in NYC
The space: The brilliant Missy Robbins has left the building. Thankfully, the ricotta cheese with honey has not. It’s more addictive than the stuff Elvis consumed. A Voce, near Madison Square Park, is high-style Italian. It's a crowd-pleaser, whether you’re showing off NYC to out-of-town guests, sipping cocktails on a girls’ night out, or escaping work for a quiet lunch.
The ingredient: Well worth the carb intake, the bread alone inspires signing up for the New York Marathon. Add the ricotta with virgin olive oil, and plan on making the race an annual commitment. For dessert, the Bomboloni Alla Toscana – Tuscan doughnuts with bittersweet chocolate – equals your first triathlon. Or at the very least, an Equinox membership.
The special: Pasta is king at A Voce. Its style may change, but its greatness doesn't falter. Say yes to anything with seafood, like the linguine with lobster, which you’ll fall for – hard.
