Alyssa Milano ActressWho’s the Boss?
New York Fashion Week took over Lincoln Center last week, which meant plenty of outrageous outfits on a strikingly attractive bunch – and a particularly challenging time finding a cab. This stylish spectacle unsurprisingly drew A-list actresses, artists and Adonises. Actress Alyssa Milano – best known for Who’s the Boss, Charmed and, now, Mistresses – sat front and center at the Tadashi Shoji show, looking pretty in plaid. Galavante caught up with her for a New York minute to talk New York City, fashion and theater.
Galavante: What do you like to do when you're in New York?
Alyssa Milano: I love to see theater, shop and eat. Also, visit my relatives.
Galavante: Any favorite places you like to eat?
Alyssa Milano: I love to go to Little Italy, to old-school big Italian restaurants. My favorite thing to order is linguini with white clam sauce. I also like to shop downtown.
Galavante: What stores do you hit when you’re in town?
Alyssa Milano: I love Opening Ceremony. That’s pretty much my staple. I have to make it to Opening Ceremony. When I was here in New York hosting Project Runway All Stars, I bought an amazing pair of black Kenzo slacks there. They have a little flap in the front – really, really cute.
Galavante: Who is your favorite designer of late?
Alyssa Milano: I love anything Marissa Webb does.
Galavante: Have you recently seen any good theater?
Alyssa Milano: The last show that I loved was Book of Mormon. The whole experience of being at a live performance is pretty amazing.
